At Happy Bee Products, we’re dedicated to producing high-quality, raw honey that captures the essence of the local environment. Our honey is cold-extracted in small batches to preserve its natural goodness, including beneficial enzymes, antimicrobial properties, and trace elements of pollen, propolis, and wax. Sourced from our hives in Yatala, our honey is as natural as it gets.
A True Reflection of Yatala
Our bees forage on native trees, wildflowers, and local plants within a 5 km radius of our apiary, making every batch unique. The flavor of our honey changes with the seasons, offering everything from sweet spring blossoms to richer, more robust native eucalyptus. Each jar reflects the local landscape and the flora that our bees forage on, giving you a true taste of the season.
Straight from the Hive
We believe in keeping our honey pure and unaltered. Our bees are never fed sugar syrups, they gather nectar and pollen naturally and store it for themselves. We don’t use any antibiotic treatments or synthetic chemicals for pest control, ensuring that our honey is free from nasty additives and as pure and clean as possible.
Preserving the Full Benefits
Our honey is raw and cold-extracted, preserving the delicate enzymes and nutrients that make honey so valuable. We only strain out larger wax particles, leaving behind trace elements of pollen and propolis, which have powerful antimicrobial properties and other health benefits.( You may still notice some of these particles still floating on top of the honey) This means that every jar is packed with natural goodness.
As its Raw and not commercially processed it will start to crystallise after a while, the time this takes depends on the type of nectar the bees have collected, this does not mean that your honey has gone off, its a natural process. The sugars from nectar are naturally crystalline and after a certain amount of time the sugars naturally return to their crystalline form. Honey in this state is great for spreading on toast and for cooking as its less messy.
